Experience Halifax from the water on a three-hour sailing and anchoring adventure aboard a JFarwell sailing yacht.
Depart from the Halifax Waterfront and set sail through historic Halifax Harbour, taking in views of the city, Georges Island and the surrounding coastline as we make our way toward local fishing grounds. Once we reach the right spot, we’ll drop the sails, set anchor for a fun adventuring casting a line and try our luck for seasonal mackerel and other Atlantic species.
Whether it’s your first time fishing or you’ve spent plenty of time on the water, our crew will provide the fishing equipment, guidance and local knowledge you need to enjoy the experience. With three hours on the water, there’s plenty of time to enjoy both the sailing, exploring at anchor and the fishing, making this much more than a traditional harbour tour.
Along the way, take in the fresh Atlantic air, experience Halifax from a completely different perspective, and discover two traditions that have shaped life in Nova Scotia for generations: sailing and fishing.
No fishing or sailing experience is required, and all equipment is provided.
